Programme aim
The Walcot BounceBack programme is a response to the pandemic and has one aim: to help low-income Lambeth residents under 30 find paid work. It is the second phase of our response to Covid-19 and runs for two years, from October 2021 to September 2023). We’ve assigned £2 million to it, over and above our usual grants programmes.
Beneficiaries will be Lambeth-resident low-income citizens under 30 who have (a) been displaced from their jobs because of the Covid-19 and (b) those who are coming new to the jobs market and have found their opportunities narrowed by the pandemic’s impact on the wider labour market.
