How you can work with us

You can contact us throughout the year to discuss ideas, collaborations, partnerships and to make new connections.

Our ‘open’ grant round will be in the Spring each year and awards funding in the early summer. During this time, you can talk to us directly about a proposal. The process involves making an initial ‘expression of interest’, followed by an application. Each year, we aim to resource a range of partners with whom our vision and values align.

In the upcoming (April 2026) grant round, we are looking for:

10 new ‘catalyst’ partners

Our catalyst partners can access up to £25,000 of flexible investment, aimed at resourcing new ideas, piloting activity, or supporting organisations at an earlier stage of development. We envisage this will help partners test approaches, build their experience and track record and unlock further opportunities. Funding can be used to support project costs or core costs, depending on what is most appropriate.

As part of this approach, Walcot aims to provide additional opportunities to connect, collaborate and learn with some of our other partners working in Lambeth, building the foundations and evidence to enable work to progress onto the next level. The duration of catalyst partnerships is not set.  Support could be spread over several months or years, depending on need and the nature of the work you wish to undertake.

10 new ‘strategic’ partners

Our strategic partners can access multi-year support, with grants of up to £40,000 a year for 3 years (plus 3% inflation each year). This resource is aimed at more established groups, working to deepen, expand or embed impactful work in Lambeth. We are particulary interested in supporting work that is rooted in and responsive to the Lambeth context and has the potential to contribute to transformational change in our borough.

Over the course of each partnership, Walcot will also help create bespoke peer support networks in place of reports, so learning can be shared and built upon. Additional resourcing will also be made available to increase influence, extend legacy and support with scaling, where appropriate.

If you’re interested in any of these opportunities, you can book an expression of interest (EOI) call here.
EOIs will take the form of a 20-minute video call to take place between the 14th and 23rd of April. When all available slots have been allocated we will close.

You may also wish to check out our 'What else I need to know' section for more information on what you can expect.
