£60,000 over three years to SYLA's education programme. It will fund 3 x 2 hour sessions per week of out-of-school educational support with literacy for under achieving black boys aged 8-11 referred by local primary schools. They will be collected from primary schools by minibus for twice weekly after-school sessions. They will also be inducted into SYLA's Saturday programme receiving leadership training and mentoring while their parents will attend training in how to parent their sons and support their education more effectively.
