£62,805 over three years to Windmill Schools Cluster towards their Natural Thinkers programme. This aims to connect urban children with nature and the developmental benefits associated with outdoors education. This grant would provide opportunities for low income pupils and their parents from across Windmill Cluster (Christ Church, Holy Trinity, Livity, Orchard, Richard Atkins, St Judes, St Lukes and Sudbourne primary schools and City Heights Academy) to participate in a programme of activities including Ambassadors training and an overnight family camp for pupils struggling with confidence and social skills, Family Learning gardening workshops for Early Years pupils and opportunities to volunteer as Peer Mentors for secondary school pupils.
