£20,018 awarded over two years for Spare Tyre Theatre Company's apprenticeship programme. Spare Tyre Theatre Company was established in the 1970s to enable vulnerable adults, particularly those with disabilities, older people with dementia and women who have experienced violence to participate in the performing arts. This grant would fund two low income Lambeth residents per year to undertake six month internships paid at the London Living Wage including: on the job training, employment support and one-to-one mentoring/supervision which would continue for two years after their internship.
