The Foundation has awarded a grant of £69,545 over three years to Working With Men for their Transition Support Project. The project is based at the Gipsy Hill Federation of schools who will refer Year 6 male pupils assessed as at risk of disengagement. Participants will attend a series of small group workshops on topics including: definitions of conflict, communication skills and anger management. Pupils struggling with particular situations at school will also receive one-to-one support. Boys with particularly complex needs will receive mentoring and their parents one-to-one support which will continue if required into the first term of secondary school.
