£74,886 over three years was awarded to Indoamerican Refugee and Migrant Organisation (IRMO) for their Step Up Plus project. This provides one-to-one advice, employability training including CV and interview skills plus ESOL and construction tuition for Latin American and Spanish/Portuguese speaking migrants. Although a small number may be unemployed the vast majority will be assisted to progress from low paid, insecure work into better jobs.
£25,000 over one year to The Creative Society for their Creative Job Studio. This will provide one-to-one mentoring and advice, training and networking events with potential employers for young people aged 18-30 who are either unemployed or low paid and seeking to establish sustainable careers in the Creative Sector.
£75,000 over three years to Thames Reach towards support with in-work progression for low paid workers, many of whom have a history of homelessness, addiction and mental health issues. Thames Reach will provide one-to-one employment support, training in basic skills, digital skills and online job search/applications
