Grants programmes to support education for pupils with
home addresses in Lambeth
Latest grants-for-schools announcement
In accordance with our Charity Commission Schemes, the grants currently available to schools are designed to enhance educational opportunities for those pupils from financially poor households (that is, families in receipt of means tested benefits, on very low incomes or without access to State benefits).
We are asking schools to ask themselves -
what are the greatest barriers that your pupils from the lowest income households face in achieving their full potential and
how could a grant play a role in resolving those difficulties?
important
some examples of grants to schools (always targeted on pupils in financial need)
This list is not exhaustive and new ideas are welcome.
How to apply
School representatives are required to discuss their ideas with us before completing an Initial Proposal Form.
When you call we will let you know the indicative grant amount for your school. The figure is based on our overall annual grants budget for schools, assigned proportionally according to the number of Lambeth resident free school meals (FSM) pupils in a school.
If we are satisfied with the initial proposal we will invite you to complete a ‘stage 2’ application form which we will email you.
If a grant is awarded schools are required to agree to our standard terms and conditions - view
