Grants for schools
grants programmes to support education for pupils with home addresses in Lambeth
There is no grant application form for schools. Schools should apply by letter. For more information please choose: is the school based in Lambeth or outside Lambeth ?
important
- Our grant aid to schools is targeted on pupils who are in financial need; you must therefore be clear who the intended beneficiaries are. (We take entitlement to Free School Meals - or being verifiably known to be slightly above the eligibility limit (e.g. in receipt of working tax credit) - as a proxy indicator of need).
- We cannot provide grants for the purchase of goods or services provided for by central or local government or which could reasonably be met from the school's devolved budget).
some examples of grants to schools (always targeted on pupils in financial need)
- educational field trips (see separate page for detailed advice on how schools apply for these grants)
- extra curricular teaching (e.g. art, sports, music, drama)
- equipment and facilities (e.g. instruments, materials, books)
- home/school support services
- after-school activities
This list is not exhaustive and new ideas are welcome.
