Monitoring Requirements
We want our grants to have the maximum impact and so we monitor their effectiveness
Standard Grant Conditions
A Grant Agreement will be agreed (via email) by an authorised representative of your organisation (usually the Director/CEO or the Chair of Trustees) before the first payment is released. This sets our our shared understanding of what the grant is for and how its impact will be measured.
The payment of any further instalments (if multi-year grants) or future grants will be dependent upon the performance of the grantee and the information obtained through monitoring reports and visits. Please note that our monitoring and evaluation procedures may change from time to time and all grantees will be expected to conform to these changes within the lifetime of the grant. We will endeavour to give as much advance notice of any changes as possible.
For multi-year grants, all future instalments are conditional upon the availability of funds.
Standard Reporting
We require you to complete an online monitoring form at the end of each year of your funded project (or as otherwise specified in the formal agreement). You will be expected to report against your agreed outputs and outcomes. The late filing of reports may count against an organisation seeking future awards.
We make grants to organisations as a means of delivering our objectives for individuals. We ask that grantee organisations track the following for each beneficiary of our grant –
Use of Logo
Finally, we ask grant recipients to acknowledge the support of the Walcot Foundation in any publication, poster or presentation (printed or electronic) and, if possible, in any related newspaper article or broadcast media. Acknowledgements should use our name - The Walcot Foundation - and where possible our logo. If grant recipients wish to issue press statements that mention us, we should be given a draft copy for comment in advance. More information about our logo can be found here.
