Capacity-building help for organisations working in Lambeth that we fund or may fund
In recent years we have been thinking about how we can best assist the organisations we fund, or might fund, to deliver the best possible service to those Lambeth residents we exist to serve.
We thought about how we could support organisations to be even more effective and decided this should be through access to quality, bespoke advice and consultancy. In 2009 we established our own capacity building service through a grant award to ADP Consultancy a well-established consultancy organisation with extensive and relevant experience in developing and supporting service delivery.
ADP Consultancy can provide organisations that are of interest to us (either because they are grant beneficiaries or because they are potential applicants) with support in areas such as -
- effective governance
- fundraising
- finance/accounting
- monitoring and evaluation
- project development and management
- business planning and strategy development
- marketing
- internal and external relations
- legal issues such as constitutions or data protection
The service allows organisations to receive support by email, phone and through one-to-one meetings.
ADP Consultancy will assess requests for this service and, where agreed, will assist qualifying organisations to set up or enhance their own systems and processes.

We exist for individuals, and often 'reach' those individuals through organisations we fund. So we are very interested in how those organisations operate, and how to support them in operating most effectively.
